13 Activities for Muslim Families To Do On A Snow Day |
This winter is bringing us some of the heaviest snow we've seen in a looooooong time. Take advantage of this time to do something new or different with your families. Here's a list of 13 activities for Muslim families to do on a snow day:
- Read Qur'an with translation
- Open a book about the Seerah and learn about the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh)
- Discuss modern day issues with your children from an Islamic perspective
- Take out some boardgames and play
- Prepare a batch of cookies or bake a cake for your family and your neighbors
- Try a new meal you haven't tried before
- Go outside, make some snow balls and have fun
- Get out some paper, glue, scissors, string/yarn, and other materials to make something creative
- Have Legos? Put them together and see what you come up with
- Make some hot soup or hot chocolate
- Help shovel your neighbors driveway
- Come up with a list of ideas to help the Muslims
- Create your own list of family activities and share it with others
